“Sarah is, quite simply, one of the best trainers I’ve ever seen. She couples this dazzling ability with counselling skills and finesse, and a genuine love of teaching. For this degree of trainer to have such an ability to empathize with and work with owners is a rare thing. Vancouver is lucky to have Yaletown Dog Training.”

About Sarah
Sarah trains dogs using reward-based methods. She has been on the faculty of The Academy for Dog Trainers, for 9 years. The Academy is a 2 year program in animal training and behaviour.
Sarah is a member of the Board of Directors for West Coast Cocker Rescue, which takes in Cocker Spaniels from high-volume shelters in British Columbia and Los Angeles. As a dog trainer there, she has demonstrated a unique ability to transform troubled dogs into adoptable family pets, and regularly fosters dogs at home.
Sarah continues her education by attending webinars and seminars on the science of animal learning, how to help fearful dogs, separation anxiety and many other topics geared towards helping dog owners.
Sarah lives in Vancouver with her partner and their rescue dog Bear, a 9 year old Pekingese cross– who is living proof of the joy animals bring to our lives.
